Cashville is one of the first Microgaming slot
offerings that plays in "coins" rather than hard cash. Along with the new Golden
Goose slots, this requires you to think a little more as a result and be warned
right away, it's easy to find yourself betting more than you would normally. A
clever if not slightly underhand twist!
On the surface, its not a bad little slot. Nice graphics and a potentially
rewarding bonus round along with some high jackpot payouts. You could find
yourself earning 10,0000 coins (that's $1,000 in a spin) from a $2.50 bet which
is a nice handout indeed. However it's fair to say that the majority of wins are
what one would term inconsequential, but regular enough to ensure the
entertainment can last for a decent amount of time on occassion.
It should be added that this is a "high variance" slot. The presnce of large
wins invariably means there are long periods where your bankroll is being eaten
up at a not unalarming rate. This is a slot that requires lots of patience and a
decent bankroll before it pays. For part-time slot players, this could be a slot
that doesn't appeal. For those willing to sit around and play through the lean
spells, I think it could be a profitable passtime. But I'm being biased here. I
lost for quite a long spell but then one spin paid me off $10,000 - my biggest
ever slot win. I'd got a bit bored and started playing $20 a spin to finish off
my session! Still, one Plasma TV purchase later...:-)
The bonus round is a typical "select an item and win" type thing. Three scatters
trigger the bonus where you pick from 4 people, who in turn give you a number of
items relevant to their persona, from which you pick 1, 2 or 3, depending on

the average for me was somewhere around 6,000 per pick which still adds up and
keeps the bankroll healthy. I'd say the bonus was occurring around once every
60-75 spins on average, but I'm not sure of the odds exactly.
